Voting Rules

Crowned By Locals rankings are intended to reflect genuine community support, not the size of a business advertising budget.

Eligibility

A verified user may support as many different eligible Businesses as they choose during a voting period, across any category or location. The maximum is one vote for the same individual Business during that voting period.

Prohibited activity

Repeat votes for the same Business in one period, purchased votes, automated submissions, duplicate accounts, employee coercion, undisclosed incentives and coordinated manipulation are prohibited.

Verification and review

Votes may be evaluated using email, account, device, location, velocity and behavioral signals. Flagged activity may be delayed, excluded or referred for human review.

Awards

Ranking position alone does not guarantee publication. Winners must pass eligibility and integrity review before awards are issued.

Appeals

Businesses may submit an appeal with supporting information. Final platform integrity decisions remain with Crowned By Locals.
